Creating your Curriculum Vitae (CV)

CV vs. Resume?

CV is typically all encompassing utilized by those with a clinical background  (2-3+ pages is average for a graduating pharmacy student…. We’ve seen faculty resume of 20+ pages of just research and publications making their total 60+ pages).

Resumes are very short and to the point.  They are focused with an objective and would be expected to be not more than 1-2 pages.  These are mainly for non-clinical professions.

Make sure your email/contact information does not reflect badly on you. (Eg. [email protected]).

Also be cautious of the information you put on social media (facebook, linkedin, etc.) sites as they could reflect poorly on your image
