Letters of Recommendation
Please reach out to 3 individuals who can potentially write you a strong letter of recommendation BEFORE midyear. You should ideally give them a one month notice minimum before attending midyear.
Mid/Late October - Ask your 3 references if they will be able to write you a recommendation letter for a pharmacy fellowship. Ask them if there is anything they would need to support your request (latest CV, etc.)
Mid/Late November - Remind your 3 references that you will be going to Midyear and that most letters of reference are due by the middle/end of December. Please let them know that you will have a final list of programs determined upon returning from midyear.
After Midyear - provide a list of all your programs, with appropriate mailing address to your references.
If they have to physically mail the envelopes (vs. email), it is considered proper etiquette to provide them with pre-stamped and pre-addressed envelopes for EACH of the places you are requesting references for.
