First field we will look at is the Community pharmacy.  A majority of these opportunities are within the Walgreens’ and CVS’ of the world.  As per the US Bureau and Labor Statistics, approximately 65% of pharmacists work in a community pharmacy setting.

  • District Supervisor and higher (If you’ve shown initiative, have proven you’re tough enough, you can move up the corporate ladder)
  • Own/work at an independent pharmacy
  • Own/work at a compounding pharmacy 

Institutional Settings aka Hospital
  • Staff Pharmacist
  • Director of Pharmacy / Pharmacy Manager
  • Clinical Pharmacist or Clinical Specialist
  • Medication Automation Pharmacist
  • Informatics Pharmacist

Academia
  • Clinical Professor
  • Pharmaceutical or Administrative Sciences
